Job summary

Qualifications

• Active registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (Adult) or equivalent with substantial post registration experience.
• Recognised Nursing Degree or equivalent including a recognised Teaching Qualification.
• Completed Bronze QI and desire to work towards Silver.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team that supports patients through the discharge process.
• Oversee day-to-day management of the department, including budget control and governance.
• Provide professional clinical leadership within a defined area and direct the multidisciplinary team.
• Promote flexible and family-friendly working practices in line with Trust policies.
• Ensure high standards of care and continuous service improvement.
