Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is seeking agency relief Support Workers to assist clients in Liverpool. You will provide essential personal care, administer medications, and support mobility within a team or independently.

This position supports well established clients for one of the UK's major social care charities. Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care certificate, and up-to-date medicines administration and safety training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care certificate.
• One year's experience with adults with physical & intellectual disability.
• Medicines administration training and safety training up to date.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Implement behavior management techniques as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
