Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare in Leicester is seeking experienced agency relief Support Workers for clients served by a major UK social care charity. The role involves personal care, medication administration, and mobility assistance across assigned shifts.

You will work either as part of a team or independently, with up-to-date Medicines Administration and Safety Intervention training, NVQ2 or Care Certificate, and a commitment to high standards of care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care certificate is required.
• At least 1 year of experience with adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.
• Medicines administration training up to date.
• Safety Intervention training up to date.
• Able to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Implement behavior management techniques as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
