Job summary

NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care certificate.
At least 1 year of experience with adults with physical and/or intellectual disability.
Up-to-date Medicines Administration training.
Up-to-date Safety Intervention training.
Ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
Implement behaviour management techniques as needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
