Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is seeking experienced healthcare professionals to join our team as agency relief Support Workers. You will provide personal care, administer medications, assist with mobility, monitor health changes, and document care for clients hosted by a major UK charity in the Liverpool area.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate, at least one year of disability care experience, and up-to-date Medicines Administration and Safety Intervention training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate required.
• One year’s experience working with adults with physical & intellectual disability.
• Up-to-date Medicines Administration training required.
• Up-to-date Safety Intervention training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Implement behavior management techniques as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
