Job summary

Aston Villa Football Club is seeking a Disability Access Officer to lead accessibility initiatives, ensuring the club is accessible, welcoming and inclusive for all supporters. You will promote inclusion and drive accessibility projects across the club, collaborating with external organisations and the AVDSA.

Role involves attending matchdays and events, coordinating with internal teams, and advocating for improvements in accessibility services for Disabled supporters.

Qualifications

• Experience in a disability access role, ideally within sports or public-facing environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of disability legislation and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to engage internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Club's accessibility work to ensure services are accessible to all supporters.
• Represent the Club and build relationships with external organisations and stakeholders.
• Attend matchdays and events to provide real-time accessibility support.
• Coordinate with internal teams to implement necessary accessibility arrangements.
