Job summary

GMCA seeks a Senior Contracts & Performance Manager to lead directorate-wide commissioning oversight, contract management and performance frameworks. You will embed governance and assurance to support informed decision-making across a growing portfolio of services and grants.

Working with the Commercial Services function, you will strengthen reporting, manage risks and provide senior leaders with timely insights to drive delivery and accountability in policing, fire and wider public service

Qualifications

• Experience across commissioning, contract management, performance management, governance and assurance in complex organisations.
• Public sector experience preferred but transferable governance expertise welcome.
• Ability to translate large volumes of operational/ contractual/ performance information into clear insight for decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead directorate-wide commissioning oversight, contract management and performance management frameworks.
• Improve management information, pipeline planning, governance arrangements and escalation processes.
• Collaborate with Commercial Services to align activity with corporate standards and provide senior-leader visibility.
