Job summary

LSEG is seeking a senior leader to manage external audit engagements within Group Engineering and oversee regulatory responses and risk reporting. The role combines governance, risk management and the use of AI-enabled tools to strengthen GRC across the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Technology & Cyber GRC, you will prioritise work streams, guide managers and analysts, and drive remediation and assurance across the control environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading external audit engagements across large organisations.
• Proven ability to manage regulatory examinations and responses.
• Strong track record in risk reporting and GRC governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead external audit engagement, coordinating with Finance, control owners and engineering teams.
• Oversee internal audits and regulatory responses, tracking ownership and commitments.
• Challenge issues, verify remediation, and reduce underlying risk.
• Maintain a clear risk profile with concise board reporting.
• Build AI-powered governance capabilities for evidence gathering and reporting.
• Develop and mentor colleagues across audit, risk, data and AI governance.
