Job summary

LSEG in London seeks a Director to lead external audit engagements across Group Engineering, handling regulatory responses and risk reporting, and to drive safe use of AI in GRC.

You will report to the Head of Technology & Cyber GRC, manage managers and analysts, and build teams across audit, risk, data and AI governance. This is a senior leadership role within a global, innovative organisation.

Qualifications

• Led external audit engagements from planning to closure with evidence quality and management responses.
• Understands technology and cyber controls and the evidence auditors/regulators expect.
• Managed audit, regulatory or remediation portfolios in regulated environments.
• Built or improved a risk, audit or GRC capability and developed diverse teams.
• Able to explain technical/regulatory issues to senior leaders and challenge conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Lead external audit engagement across Group Engineering; manage auditors; coordinate testing and remediation.
• Oversee internal audit and regulatory responses; track commitments and prepare evidence.
• Challenge identified issues; review root causes and ensure remediation reduces risk.
• Maintain a clear risk profile and provide concise reporting to the Board/executives.
• Lead AI-enabled GRC initiatives; govern agent development, testing and oversight.
• Develop people and services; recruit and mentor staff across audit, risk, data and AI governance.
