Job summary

Ogier Regulatory Consulting in Jersey seeks an experienced Director to lead a broad regulatory and consulting portfolio across the Channel Islands. You will shape strategy, develop client relationships, and grow the team, collaborating with Ogier's law firm and Ogier Global to deliver high‑quality services.

Based in Jersey or Guernsey, you will mentor local consultants, manage key accounts, monitor performance against targets, and contribute to thought leadership in regulatory compliance while

Qualifications

• At least 15 years’ relevant experience in regulatory and compliance consulting.
• Excellent academic background with practical experience and a relevant professional qualification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Channel Islands AML and CFT legislation and regulations.
• Commitment to high standards of client service based on understanding needs and delivering solutions.
• Excellent management and influencing skills; a role model and team player.
• Strong attention to detail; driven to achieve excellence for client and team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the MD to develop and enhance a profitable regulatory consulting business under the Ogier brand.
• Strengthen relationships with regulators, law enforcement, existing clients, and Guernsey-based financial services businesses.
• Manage performance of the Channel Islands consulting service line against targets and KPIs.
• Implement the vision and strategy for Ogier Regulatory Consulting in the Channel Islands.
• Support marketing and business development, leading Channel Islands product/services growth.
• Coordinate with Ogier Legal and Ogier Global to ensure complementary consultancy services.
• Manage client expectations and pursue cross-selling opportunities within Ogier.
• Lead external thought leadership and training events to promote Ogier Regulatory Consulting.
