Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Product Platform Director to join our team in the Clarivate IP Division. This role will define and lead the strategy to transform our legacy service platforms into an ecosystem of high-value capabilities, supporting multiple commercial product lines and delivering a stellar customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing transformation projects in disruptive industries such as Digital Payments or Fintech.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

- Approximately 10 years of product management expertise, technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to drive transformation initiatives.

- Experience in large-scale digital transformation, process automation, and platform modernization using AI/ML technologies.

- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Proven leadership in transformative roles within disruptive industries like digital payments or fintech.

- Visionary mindset with the ability to translate disruptive ideas into actionable plans.

- Data-driven analytical approach to digital decision-making.

- Startup mindset with experience in rapid development environments.

- An MBA is a plus.

What will you be doing in this role?

- Lead strategic planning and execution of the transformation of product platforms aligning with business goals.

- Oversee integration and modernization of legacy platforms into a modular, AI/ML-driven system for efficiency and scalability.

- Collaborate with engineering, data science, operations, and other departments for seamless transition and performance.

- Lead and motivate a team of Product Managers and SMEs, developing technology roadmaps and applying agile methodologies.

- Drive innovation by incorporating emerging AI and ML technologies.

- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, providing updates and support for transformation initiatives.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.

- Define and monitor KPIs to measure success and drive improvements, focusing on service-related metrics.

- Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize cost-to-value ratios.

About the Team

This role reports to the VP of Product and involves building a team, initially leading 3 Product Managers/Business Analysts, and collaborating across the IP Division.

Hours of Work

Full-time, permanent role based in London or Jersey with a hybrid schedule (2 days in the office per week). Some travel expected.
