Job Overview

The Grid Automation (GA) Protection & Control Director Product Manager leads the overall business strategy for the GA mainstream products portfolio, focusing on market demand, product management, and technological differentiation. This role oversees a portfolio generating approximately $1 billion in revenue, managing a team of around 500 domain experts, and optimizing R&D investment of about $50 million.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships, understand industry trends, and identify growth opportunities.
• Define the strategy, product/solution roadmap, and business cases for GA Protection & Control.
• Drive technology differentiation in coordination with GA CTO.
• Manage the entire NPI (New Product Introduction) program from development to launch.
• Oversee product and solution lifecycle management, collaborating with regional teams and supply chain.
• Partner with regional teams on marketing, sales, delivery, and service strategies.
• Build and develop a diverse, high-performing organization; foster talent growth.
• Establish and nurture internal and external relationships to support cross-portfolio initiatives.
• Contribute to the long-term strategic planning of Grid Automation in collaboration with GA CTO.
• Propose strategic partnerships and acquisitions to support business growth.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in product management, technology development, or business management.

• Domain expertise in Electricity Transmission, Distribution, or Industrial Automation markets.
• Strong business and technical acumen, with an interest in business development and commercial strategies.
