Job summary
Wiley is seeking a Director, People Technology in the United Kingdom. You will lead the technical direction for Workday and related platforms, coach teams, and partner with senior leaders to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that improve colleague experience and efficiency.
You will drive cross‑functional programs across People, IT, and the business, stay ahead of technology trends, and pilot AI/automation initiatives to enhance productivity and impact.
Qualifications
- Progressive experience in people technology and leading complex projects.
- Experience delivering people technology projects and implementations.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Workday certification or equivalent expertise.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for Workday and related platforms.
- Set technical standards, design guidance, and secure, scalable configurations.
- Coach and mentor colleagues across the People Technology team.
- Lead cross-functional programs with IT and business operations, on time and within budget.
- Partner with leaders to translate technical possibilities into practical solutions.
- Identify AI, automation, and emerging platforms to enhance colleague experience.
