Job summary

Talent International in the UK is seeking a Workday HCM Lead to provide technical authority, design assurance, and SME guidance within a large-scale government shared services setting. You will blend hands-on configuration with senior stakeholder management and team mentorship.

In a hybrid role with office bases in Swindon, Stockton, or Newport, you will drive HR architecture, oversee deployments, and ensure compliance with government standards while leading complex Workday initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant senior Workday HCM configuration/implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes in large organizations.
• Experience providing technical leadership or governance in SaaS/ERP.
• Excellent ability to translate complex requirements into functional designs.
• Proven leadership and communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, optimization, and governance of the HCM platform.
• Lead workshops and translate business needs into designs.
• Coach junior analysts and contractors; mentor team members.
• Oversee release management and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee ticketing, SLA/KPI, and continuous improvement.
