Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking an EHS Generalist to join the UK EHS team, supporting the Selborne programme across locations in the South of England. The role may be customer site or home based, with occasional travel to Raytheon UK sites.

You will lead EHS projects, develop programmes, ensure COSHH and ISO14001/45001 compliance, and provide guidance to management and employees. A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is required, with strong communication and audit skills.

Qualifications

• Education: NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of UK Environment, Health and Safety regulatory requirements.
• Experience with significant Health and Safety topics (PUWER, COSHH, Manual Handling).
• Familiarity with ISO14001 and ISO45001.
• Audit and training content creation experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Strong report writing and MS Office presentation skills.
• Member of IOSH/IEMA/IIRSM or working towards membership.
• MoD security clearance or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS projects and present plans to key stakeholders.
• Develop EHS programmes and drive change processes.
• Understand EHS management systems and legal requirements.
• Provide EHS guidance and escalation when required.
• Perform risk assessments and action plans.
• Ensure COSHH compliance and environmental controls.
• Lead audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Prepare and present at EHS committee meetings.
• Support other adhoc meetings and initiatives.
• Maintain documentation for audits and compliance.
• Participate in continuous improvement across the site.
