Job summary

Vonage is seeking a Senior Director, Strategic Projects to serve as trusted advisor and execution partner to the VP, Business Innovation. This high-autonomy role owns cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, defining priorities and driving measurable impact across strategy, product, and go-to-market.

You will shape Vonage’s Network API strategy, lead complex projects from problem framing to executive-ready recommendations, and collaborate with product, engineering, BD, marketing, and legal to

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive strategy/consulting experience (Senior Engagement Manager level)
• Proven track record leading complex strategic projects from framing to recommendations
• Experience in or familiarity with telecom/cloud/enterprise tech ecosystems; Network API landscape is a plus
• In-house strategy experience at a tech company is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end ownership of high-priority strategic projects for the Network API business
• Define objectives, assemble cross-functional teams, and manage delivery against plan
• Translate ambiguous challenges into clear, defensible recommendations with financial impact
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and prepare executive materials
• Develop market intelligence to inform portfolio, GTM strategy, and investment decisions
• Construct GTM strategies and business model innovations for new Network API opportunities
• Build reusable frameworks and playbooks to scale impact across engagements
