Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• 8+ years in SaaS/software contract negotiations and technology procurement.
• 5+ years negotiating SAP renewals, including RISE, S/4HANA, and line-of-business solutions.
• Subject matter expertise in SAP licensing and software/Cloud services markets.
• Experience with software license compliance risk assessment, particularly SAP.
• Experience negotiating with major vendors (AWS, Google, Salesforce, Microsoft, Oracle, ServiceNow).
• Executive presence and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to present confidently to varied audiences; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Create insights and actionable approaches to help clients address priorities.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to identify root causes and reframing challenges.
• Establish insights positions across analysts to shape Gartner's research agenda.
• Research, analyze, and predict market trends to provide actionable insights.
• Create high-value presentations for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
• Support BTI and Sales by providing market voice for content and client engagement.
• Provide high-quality peer reviews and represent Gartner insights and methodology.
• Collaborate with global colleagues to identify process improvements and strengthen service delivery.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Maintain client-centric engagement with Gartner insights and interactions.
