The Grand Hotel Birmingham Limited is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to drive growth across UK markets. You will lead sales strategy, develop key accounts, win new business, and collaborate with leadership, revenue and marketing teams to strengthen commercial performance.
Hybrid working with two days in Birmingham; the role requires a strong network in the hospitality sector, a proven track record in senior hotel sales, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Birmingham's Grand Hotel on Colmore Row is housed in one of the city's most iconic buildings.
This landmark Grade II* listed building has been brought back to life combining beautifully restored classic and original Victorian features with modern service and style that compliments a vibrant and diverse Birmingham in the 21st century.
The Grand Hotel features 185 bedrooms and extraordinary suites, a glamorous cocktail bar, a buzzing New York style restaurant, and eight magnificent meeting and event rooms - as well as the spectacular, Louis XIV-style Grand Ballroom.
We're looking for an experienced Director of Sales to help shape the next stage of The Grand Hotel Birmingham's growth. After six fantastic years with The Grand Hotel, our current Director of Sales is moving abroad to follow her dreams. This creates a rare opportunity to join one of Birmingham and the West Midlands' leading hotels.
As Director of Sales you'll lead the hotel's sales strategy across all market segments, building on our established success while developing new markets, clients and partnerships. Working closely with the senior leadership, revenue and marketing teams, you will play an important role in the hotel's continued commercial growth.
The role combines strategic planning with proactive sales activity: developing key accounts, winning new business, identifying market opportunities and representing The Grand across Birmingham and the wider UK market.
We are open to hybrid working, with around two days a week in Birmingham alongside client meetings, events and business travel. Applicants therefore do not necessarily need to be Midlands-based.
