Job summary

Aureos is hiring a Head of Project Controls in the Dungeness area to lead the project controls function on the Boiler programme. You will ensure robust planning, cost management, risk handling and change control to deliver safely, on time and within budget.

You will build dashboards, reports and governance across planning, cost, risk and document control, with a focus on Earned Value methodologies and data analytics using Power BI and P6. Nuclear experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project controls or PMO leadership roles.
• Strong planning, scheduling, cost management and reporting capabilities.
• Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of project delivery methodologies and NEC contract frameworks.
• Extensive Earned Value Management (EVM) experience is essential.
• Experience within Nuclear or Nuclear Decommissioning programmes is advantageous.
• Experience implementing project controls systems and digital reporting.
• Power BI and data analytics experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and lead the project controls function for the programme.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and baselines.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and cost control with EVM processes.
• Produce weekly and monthly performance reports for senior stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks; maintain risk and opportunity registers.
• Coordinate change control and governance processes.
• Lead and develop project controls teams with a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with commercial, finance and operations teams.
