Job summary

LivGreen Ltd is seeking a seasoned Pre-Construction Director to lead the Pre-Construction function, guiding projects from Sales handover through mobilisation with a focus on commercial efficiency and delivery readiness.

You will set standards, manage a high-performing team, own forecasting and capacity planning, and collaborate with Sales, Commercial and Operations to ensure procurement, programme delivery and revenue objectives.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in pre-construction or closely related field.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end pre-construction lifecycle: scope, surveys, design coordination, mobilisation and handover.
• Experience leading and developing teams with clear accountability.
• Proven ability to improve forecasting, capacity planning and project readiness.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management with senior clients.

Responsibilities

• As Pre-Construction Director, lead the Pre-Construction function with clear direction and accountability.
• Develop and oversee the Head of Retrofit Coordination, Mobilisation Coordinator and surveying resource.
• Own forecasting and capacity planning ensuring alignment to pipeline demand and constraints.
• Set standards for sales-to-pre-construction handover with defined scope and commitments.
• Provide senior oversight of mobilisation and project readiness, identifying risks and resolving blockers.
• Drive consistency across processes, IOE standards, scheduling and mobilisation planning.
• Collaborate with Sales, Commercial and Operations to support procurement readiness and programme delivery.
• Use pipeline data to inform the Senior Leadership Team on performance and priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen commercial performance.
• Build a high-performing team through leadership, coaching and resource planning.
• Act as senior escalation point for Pre-Construction matters in client discussions.
• Ensure lessons learned improve Pre-Construction standards and project readiness.
