We are seeking a Director of People and Change for a 12-month contract.
This hybrid role requires a presence in the office two days per week, with flexibility to work from one of the following locations: London (Canary Wharf), Cardiff, Croydon, Sale, Birmingham, or Wakefield.
As Director of People and Change, you will play a critical role in modernising the organisation by building strategic people capability and driving meaningful cultural transformation. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about creating inclusive, future-ready workplaces. You will shape and implement forward-thinking HR strategies, champion best practices in people management, and nurture a high-performance culture aligned with the organisation’s values and long-term objectives. Your work will directly impact how the organisation attracts, develops, and retains talent while navigating large-scale change and enhancing overall employee experience.
Key requirements:
• Extensive experience in large-scale change, transformation, or policy-driven HR programmes
• Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
• A solid understanding of workforce process improvement and experience in working collaboratively with Trade Unions
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
