Job summary

Leadout Capital in London seeks a Director, Industry Strategist to combine life sciences expertise with enterprise implementation. You will act as a recognized expert on the life sciences ecosystem, focusing on commercial pharma and how to translate business processes into adopted product capabilities.

You will lead industry strategy, GTM alignment, and accelerator delivery across internal and partner programs, coaching teams and shaping the product roadmap with measurable value for customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 10+ years of domain experience in life sciences or commercial pharma.
• Experience implementing CRM or enterprise software in pharma or advising IT on enterprise implementations.
• Ability to map business processes and user personas to technical capabilities and identify gaps.
• Knowledge of life sciences regulatory requirements affecting software implementations.

Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the industry point-of-view strategy regarding trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive positioning across life sciences.
• Represent the organization as an external thought leader through webinars, conferences, analyst briefings, and advisory boards.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to map customer journeys to product capabilities.
• Map user personas to product features and define reusable templates for scale.
• Elevate product capability gaps based on real-world customer requirements.
• Coach partners and internal teams on best practices and implementation methodologies.
• Shape GTM assets and industry-specific value propositions with Product Marketing.
• Own executive reporting on velocity, accelerator adoption, and delivery insights.
