Job summary

Morgan Philips Executive Search invites applications for a Director to create and lead a new Life Sciences service line within a global engineering and technology consultancy. Job description

Morgan Philips Executive Search is partnered with a leading Global engineering and technology consultancy in supporting the identification of a Director to build and develop a new service line in Life Sciences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the strategy, leading the go-to-market, hiring the team, managing client relationships and overseeing the commercial success of the business unit.

The UK arm of the firm is very successful in delivering engineering and technology consulting to a range of other sectors including Defence, Security, Automotive, Energy, Finance and Telco and there is an established Global Life Sciences practice, which the incoming Director could work with to leverage case studies, ways of working and relationships.

The offering would be focused on supporting pharmaceutical and life science organisations across topics such as regulatory affairs, QA, technology, industrialisation, manufacturing and operations.

The role requires an ambitious, entrepreneurial consultant with a strong background delivering solutions to the life sciences sector.

You should have:

• A long track record of scoping and executing technical and/or engineering consultancy projects
• Experience working within a Global consultancy and strong understanding of the benchmarks for commercial success
• A deep network in the UK life sciences/pharmaceuticals space
• Experience building and managing teams of consultants
