WildLand Ltd in Scotland is seeking a Director of Hospitality to lead the hospitality strategy for the growing collection, working with the CEO and senior leadership to balance exceptional guest experiences with commercial performance and long-term sustainability.
You will shape a hospitality culture rooted in kindness, care and empowerment, driving projects that connect guests with Scotland’s landscapes and heritage while supporting conservation goals and community impact.
"In nature, nothing stands alone. The whole supports the parts, and at the same time, the parts support the whole. And they do so effortlessly."
Lead a new era of purpose-led hospitality in Scotland.
A rare opportunity to shape exceptional guest experiences across one of Scotland's most ambitious hospitality, conservation and regeneration collections.
WildLand is restoring and revitalising some of Scotland's most remarkable landscapes, buildings and communities for future generations. Our vision reaches far beyond traditional hospitality. Through thoughtful restoration, conservation and community investment, we create places where nature, heritage and people can thrive together. Every destination within our collection has its own story, character and sense of place. Our role is to bring these places to life through authentic experiences that connect guests with the landscape, culture and communities that make them unique.
At WildLand, hospitality is more than accommodation, food and service. We believe true hospitality is the feeling of being welcomed by a trusted friend or family member. It is warmth, generosity, attentiveness and genuine human connection. The experiences we create are personal, memorable and deeply rooted in place. Every interaction, every detail and every moment should leave guests feeling known, cared for and inspired.
Exceptional hospitality begins with exceptional hosting.
As Director of Hospitality, you will shape and lead the hospitality strategy across WildLand's growing collection. Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will develop a hospitality culture that balances exceptional guest experiences with strong commercial performance and long-term sustainability, underpinned by a leadership approach that nurtures and develops people through kindness, care, accountability and empowerment. This is an opportunity to influence not only business performance, but to showcase how hospitality can actively contribute to landscape restoration, community regeneration and Scotland's future.
This role sits at the intersection of purpose, place and performance.
As Director of Hospitality, you will:
You are a proven hospitality leader with experience leading complex luxury, lifestyle or destination-based operations. You combine commercial discipline with creativity, strategic thinking with operational excellence, and ambition with humility. Most importantly, you understand that meaningful hospitality is built on people, relationships and place.
You believe that hospitality has the power to leave places better than we found them.
For the right individual, this role offers the chance to build something truly distinctive. To lead not only a hospitality business, but a movement that brings together conservation, culture, community and exceptional guest experiences. To create a legacy that extends far beyond traditional hospitality.
Join us and help define the future of purpose-led hospitality in Scotland.
Lead with purpose. Host with heart. Create a legacy that lasts generations.
