Hunter Dunning in London seeks a Director and Service Lead - Fire Engineering to establish and lead a new fire engineering department. You will oversee technical delivery, commercial strategy and team development across existing buildings, refurbishment, remediation, and high-risk developments.

The role requires Chartered Fire Engineer status, 10+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of Building Safety Act. Competitive £110k–£130k salary plus bonus; flexible working post-probation.

Formación

• Chartered Fire Engineer with IFE accreditation.
• At least 10 years of relevant fire engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Building Safety Act and Building Regulations.
• Experience with higher-risk buildings and Building Safety Regulator submissions.

Responsabilidades

• Establish departmental strategy, business plans, budgets and recruitment.
• Lead complex fire strategies, compliance advice and technical delivery.
• Implement quality assurance, peer reviews and competency standards.
• Manage fees, profitability, client relationships and business development.
• Recruit, mentor and lead technical teams, reporting to senior leadership.
