  • Design and deliver a roadmap to digitise and automate finance processes (close, reporting, reconciliations) and tooling such as PowerBI or Tableau for real time insight into client performance and margins
  • Shorten the month-end close from to 7 days for full close and reporting including all reconciliations
  • Implement finance systems and tools, working with data and technology teams
  • Partner with the onshore/offshore operating model for transactional finance (AR, AP, Treasury, cash management, month end) partnering with the Group Financial Controller

Accounting Policy & Audit:

  • Own and develop group accounting policies in line with IFRS (or future US GAAP if relevant)
  • Prepare technical accounting papers for complex areas (revenue recognition, contract completeness, share options, leases, etc.)
  • Lead internal audit readiness processes and proactively manage external relationships such as advisors
  • Ensure timely and complete audit delivery for FY24 and accelerate FY25

M&A Execution Support:

  • Act as finance lead for acquisitions, working alongside deal and legal teams
  • Draft accounting treatment memos (e.g. IFRS 3, 10, 15, 16) and support purchase accounting
  • Support financial due diligence, SPA review, integration planning, and post-deal finance setup
  • Coordinate with external advisors and auditors to pre-clear treatments

Governance, Risk & Controls:

  • Strengthen internal control framework across the group
  • Prepare for public company grade control maturity (SOX-lite roadmap)
  • Collaborate with the FP&A, business finance, and group reporting teams to ensure financial governance is embedded across the function

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Extension PQE experience with demonstrable technical accounting expertise (IFRS essential)
  • Hands-on experience delivering or supporting audits for mid to large businesses
  • Experience supporting M&A transactions including accounting treatment and post-deal integration
  • Track record in finance transformation and systems improvement (e.g. ERP, Power BI, data lakes)
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels

Desired:

  • Public listing preparation or listed company exposure
  • Knowledge of US GAAP or future transition readiness
  • Experience working with offshore finance teams or shared services
