JPMorgan Chase seeks a Director of Software Engineering in the Asset & Wealth Management International Private Bank Technology organization. You will lead a technical area delivering scalable, secure client-facing capabilities for J.P.

Morgan Online International, while guiding architecture, design, and delivery across teams. You will stay hands-on with code reviews and critical implementations, mentor engineers, and drive responsible AI adoption, cloud-native delivery, and governance.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Deep hands-on experience building and operating scalable client-facing applications.
• Experience leading cross-functional technologist teams.
• Experience hiring, coaching and giving performance feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology and process implementations to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient client-facing digital banking capabilities
• Remain hands-on, contributing to design, implementation, code review, and solving complex issues
• Set direction and governance for AI-enabled engineering and SDLC/TLM automation
• Apply enterprise AI tools to improve value and unlock capacity
• Govern coding decisions, controls, and operational readiness of services
• Deliver reusable capabilities and pragmatic architecture across businesses/domains
• Translate client needs and financial workflows into engineering decisions
• Build and develop engineering talent with a culture of excellence and learning
