Job summary

Matillion seeks a Director of Product Management to own strategy and execution for a core product area. You will lead a team of Product Managers, spend significant time on direct product work, and drive a multi-quarter roadmap with cross-functional alignment.

You will partner with Engineering, Design, GTM and Customer Success to stay ahead of shipping and translate learnings into what’s next. Expect a hands-on, data-driven leadership role with strong executive communication.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of using AI tools to accelerate product work.
• 10+ years in product management with direct PM leadership experience.
• Comfortable handling commercial pressure while delivering quality.
• Systems thinker balancing craft, speed and impact across streams.
• Deep data literacy and evidence-based decision making.
• Shipping and scaling B2B products end to end with commercial impact.
• Experience hiring, coaching and managing Product Managers.
• Excellent communication with executive leadership and customers.
• Hands-on exposure to the data ecosystem for credible trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and execution for a core product area end to end.
• Lead a team of Product Managers and balance hands-on work with leadership.
• Define a multi-quarter roadmap and prioritise across workstreams.
• Maintain direct product ownership and write specs and run discovery.
• Set quality standards and enforce accountability with stakeholders.
• Understand market needs across data engineering and analytics personas.
• Lead cross-functional alignment with engineering, design, GTM and Success.
• Present roadmap trade-offs to leadership and customers.
