Larson Maddox is seeking a Compliance Director to lead the development and delivery of the UK and European compliance framework for a rapidly growing consumer goods group.

You will partner with Legal, Operations, and Risk to strengthen governance, mitigate regulatory risk, and promote accountability across the organisation.

The role focuses on implementing robust policies, monitoring regulatory developments, and embedding compliant decision-making across multiple product categories and markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or related governance.
• Experience in ecommerce, retail, or consumer products sectors.
• Proven ability to lead governance across multiple functions.

A rapidly growing consumer goods group is seeking a Compliance Director to support the development and delivery of its UK and European compliance framework. As the business continues to expand across multiple product categories and markets, this role will play a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance, product safety, and sustainable business growth.

The successful candidate will partner closely with legal, commercial, operations, and risk teams to strengthen compliance governance, mitigate regulatory risks, and promote a culture of accountability across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the European compliance and product safety programme across both food and non-food product categories.
• Assist in developing compliance policies, procedures, monitoring frameworks, and governance structures aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with key stakeholders across Legal, Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Product teams to ensure compliance considerations are embedded into business decision-making.
• Monitor regulatory developments across the UK and Europe, assessing potential business impacts and recommending practical solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience within compliance, regulatory affairs, product compliance, risk, or a related governance function.
• Experience working within e-commerce, retail, consumer products, manufacturing, logistics, or a similarly regulated environment.
