Qualifications

• 5+ years in Compliance, Sustainability, Product Safety, Quality or Responsible Sourcing.
• Strong experience with international suppliers and supply chains.
• Experience managing supplier compliance, audits and corrective actions.
• Experience with customer/retailer compliance requirements.
• Experience interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements.
• Experience with ethical audit programmes (SMETA, BSCI, SLCP or equivalent).
• Experience with sustainability standards and certification programmes (GOTS, GRS, RCS, OCS, BCSS/BCI, Higg Index).

Description du poste

The Compliance & Sustainability Manager will be responsible for managing and continuously improving the company’s compliance and sustainability programmes across products, suppliers and the wider supply chain.

The role will ensure that the business remains compliant with relevant UK, EU and international legislation, customer requirements and industry standards, while supporting the development of robust sustainability practices and supply chain transparency.

Working cross-functionally with Design, Buying, Sourcing, QA/QC and global teams, the Compliance & Sustainability Manager will coordinate regulatory requirements, supplier compliance, product and sustainability documentation, audits, risk assessments and reporting.

A key focus of the role will be to keep the business ahead of evolving regulatory requirements, including emerging UK and EU sustainability legislation, whilst ensuring that compliance processes are practical, clearly documented and effectively implemented across the organisation.

The role will also act as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on compliance and sustainability matters, supporting continuous improvement and promoting a proactive culture of compliance and responsible sourcing.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• 5+ years' experience in Compliance, Sustainability, Product Safety, Quality, Responsible Sourcing or Supply Chain Governance.
