Richmond Pharmacology seeks a Head of Clinical Operations to lead the Clinical Operations department in London. The role drives study delivery, process improvements and risk mitigation while guiding cross-functional teams and ensuring efficient workflows.

You will manage resources, SOPs, KPIs and on-call coverage, reporting to senior leadership and collaborating with clinical project management, pharmacy and research physicians.

Competenze

• Experience leading a clinical operations function and managing cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with clinical systems and dashboards for KPI tracking.
• Strong problem solving in a clinical setting and staff development.
• Ability to recruit, train and develop people and set performance metrics.
• History of change management across behavioural, clinical and technological aspects.

Mansioni

• Lead the Clinical Operations department and provide strategic oversight.
• Manage resourcing, performance monitoring and escalation of issues.
• Oversee SOPs, WIs, process maps and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate 24-hour on-call rota and daily ward operations.
• Monitor KPIs via dashboards and drive staff development and PDPs.
• Coordinate vendor training, review dosing charts and risk assessments.
• Support site initiation visits, study start-up activities and audits.
• Engage in recruitment planning and ensure clear staff goals and feedback.
