Job summary

Richmond Pharmacology is seeking a Clinical Data Management Team Lead to provide day-to-day leadership of the CDM team in London, with four days on-site at London Bridge. The role requires strategic oversight of data management activities across multiple studies, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and regulatory compliance within a permanent, full-time framework.

You will lead staffing, workload planning, and KPI monitoring while supporting departmental objectives and continuous process

Qualifications

• Previous relevant clinical Data Management experience within NHS, academic, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO industries.
• Experience coordinating Data Management activities at portfolio level and managing timelines and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of EDC systems and CDM processes, including eCRF development, data cleaning, reconciliation and database lock.
• Good working knowledge of GCP, ICH E6(R2) guidelines and relevant clinical trial regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and operational management of the Clinical Data Management team.
• Coordinate workloads and study delivery, monitor quality and performance.
• Lead maintenance and improvement of departmental procedures and SOPs.
• Escalate significant risks and issues to Head of Data Management as required.
• Ensure data management activities comply with regulatory standards and quality requirements.
• Oversee study lifecycle activities including data handling plans, validation, cleaning and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, QA and IT to ensure data flow and study delivery.
• Manage vendor interactions and performance related to data management services.
