Job summary

Richmond Pharmacology is seeking an experienced Ward Manager to lead clinical ward activities at London Bridge. You will provide clinical leadership, oversee CTAs and study visits, and ensure adherence to ICH GCP standards while maintaining patient safety.

The role is hands-on on the ward, requires strong collaboration with the Clinical Operations Management team, and involves staff development, incident reporting, and quality assurance to support delivery of high-quality clinical trials.

Qualifications

• BSc or above in Life Sciences or related field.
• Leadership or management qualification, or proven equivalent experience.
• Experience with incident reporting and CAPA management.
• Proficient in cannulation, venepuncture, ECG and vital signs.
• Knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and professional leadership to CTAs and ward staff.
• Ensure studies are delivered to high governance standards.
• Coordinate across clinical areas to meet study timelines and visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation of trial data per ICH GCP.
• Monitor and report adverse events; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with procurement and COMs to ensure ward equipment availability.
