Job summary

Optimizely is seeking a senior security leader to own its security program end to end, spanning strategy, governance, and operations. You’ll drive AI security governance, cloud security, IaC, and incident response, partnering with engineering, product, and executive teams to reduce risk while enabling fast, secure product innovation.

You will lead a security organization, mentor staff, own budgets, and communicate risk to executives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on depth in detection and response.
• Proven incident command on high-severity incidents.
• Strong cloud security across AWS or Azure, containers, IaC, and CI/CD.
• Experience leading security engineering or operations in a cloud-native SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security program across strategy, governance, and operations.
• Oversee incident response, tabletop exercises, and postmortem improvements.
• Advise executives on risk and communicate security posture.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Compliance and Risk, and Reliability Engineering to ship outcomes.
