Job summary

LILT in London is seeking a Head of Technical Program Management for Applied AI to drive and own all project execution, customer outcomes, and delivery excellence across LILT’s Applied AI practice for the world’s leading AI labs.

You will lead the people, operations, and systems behind every Applied AI engagement — multilingual and multimodal data, evaluations, and benchmarks — and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to high quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in delivery, operations, or program leadership.
• 5+ years managing managers or multi-team delivery organizations.
• Experience building and scaling TPM, Product, or Engineering teams.
• Education: BS/MS in CS/AI (or PhD with 8+ years).

Responsibilities

• End-to-end Practice Ownership: accountable for customer outcomes across all Applied AI programs, including delivery timelines, quality SLAs, margin, and satisfaction.
• Lead and scale the delivery team: recruit, mentor, and grow TPMs and project managers; unblock complex challenges.
• Run delivery operations and capacity planning at volume: manage staffing and resource allocation; turn demand into production plans.
• Build the delivery operating system: standardize intake, scoping, kickoff, QA, reporting and close-out.
• Strategic Customer Partnership & Escalations: act as delivery sponsor for frontier AI lab relationships; shape scope, pricing, and timelines with Sales.
• Own quality: collaborate with Research to standardize QC across delivery; implement calibration, gold sets, and evaluation pipelines.
• Manage the expert and vendor workforce: qualify, manage, and engage multilingual contributors and vendors.
• Cross-functional Workflow Design and Execution: design scalable program frameworks for text, image, video, and audio modalities.
