Axelera AI Bristol is seeking a director-level leader to own Silicon Product Engineering and our validation lab end-to-end—from tapeout through NPI to volume production. You will lead the NPI Engineering Manager and Lab Manager, report to the executive team, and partner closely with Design, Sales, and our external manufacturing ecosystem.

You will build and scale two technical departments, own budgets and headcount, recruit senior talent, translate executive strategy into clear direction, and

Qualifications

Leadership of senior engineering teams
Experience with silicon validation and production
Budgeting and headcount ownership
Executive communication to board-level audiences
Strong knowledge of ATE, NPI, and OSAT processes

Responsibilities

Own NPI, lab operations, and production readiness across multiple chip programs
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of test engineers and lab staff
Translate executive strategy into clear direction for two departments
Strengthen OSAT and foundry partnerships and test-house relationships
Ensure validation capability keeps pace with the roadmap and safety standards
