Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Director of Project Controls for infrastructure projects in the UK. You will lead end to end project controls delivery across risk, schedule, cost and change, guiding senior stakeholders and coordinating a team of specialists.

You will drive performance through KPI tracking, reporting, and PMO collaboration while ensuring delivery within time and budget constraints on major infrastructure programmes.

Qualifications

• Recent degree in a technical field with management qualifications and proven project controls experience on construction infrastructure.
• Experience in planning & scheduling, cost management, risk management and reporting on complex projects.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of specialists and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end to end project controls services for large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Monitor and apply performance management techniques and KPIs to improve project performance.
• Lead and manage multiple project controls functions including risk, schedule, cost, scope and change.
• Influence senior stakeholders to improve performance and outcomes.
• Act as the day-to-day project team interface to meet client objectives within time and cost targets and quality standards.
• Support the PMO centre of expertise in developing and implementing project controls.
