Job Location and Travel

The postholder can be based in either our London HQ in King Charles Street or our East Kilbride HQ (just outside Glasgow). Regular travel to other offices will be required.

Job Summary

The Director General Chief Operating Officer is a key senior leadership role within the department, leading the FCDO’s operations and delivery of the Government’s global platform. Effective leadership of this corporate agenda is critical to delivering the FCDO’s mission as the international delivery arm of Government.
