Appian in London is seeking a Director, Solutions Consulting to lead a high‑performing team of 3–6 pre‑sales engineers, deliver impactful demonstrations, and shape the enterprise sales strategy across EMEA.

You will own technical leadership in complex engagements, architect integration plans, influence product direction, and evangelize the platform with Fortune 500 clients, traveling up to 70% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in solutions consulting, pre-sales engineering, or technical architecture.
• 5+ years leading technical teams.
• Sales incentive plan experience with revenue/booking targets.
• Expert in system integration and enterprise architecture.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.

Responsabilités

• Lead and Develop Talent: Manage, mentor, and evaluate a high-performing team of 3–6 pre-sales engineering professionals.
• Orchestrate Technical Sales: Oversee scoping, design, and execution of tailored technical sales demos and POC/POV frameworks.
• Partner with Sales Leadership: Collaborate with Account Executives on qualification and territory strategy.
• Architect Integration Strategies: Design customer installation models and integration plans for complex sales.
• Influence Product Direction: Align field feedback with product roadmap and platform capabilities.
• Evangelize the Platform: Represent Appian at executive briefings and key client events.
