Job summary

AstraZeneca seeks a Director, Data & Information Marketplace, Cambridge, leading a function to turn trusted data into a strategic asset for patients and the business. You will shape product strategy, governance, and scalable services enabling secure discovery, access and use of data by people and machines.

You will translate user needs and regulatory requirements into intuitive, compliant experiences, driving adoption and speed across enterprise data platforms in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data/information marketplaces or enterprise data platforms.
• Ability to translate user and regulatory requirements into compliant experiences for humans and machines.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve marketplace strategy, governance and operating practices.
• Own marketplace products end-to-end, translating needs into backlogs and seamless experiences.
• Implement scalable data access, lineage, quality controls and governance.
• Lead lifecycle management for data assets, including retention and disposal.
• Embed governance, risk and compliance across services, ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Drive cost visibility, service optimization and adoption across platforms.
