Job summary

MSD in the United Kingdom seeks a Director, Digital Tech Transfer & Knowledge Management to shape manufacturing capabilities across the tech transfer lifecycle. You will define strategy, develop the roadmap, and drive execution of digital PKM initiatives, leading a multi-disciplinary team to build and enhance systems that capture and use process knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years of industry experience in relevant fields.
• Proven experience in pharmaceutical technology transfer and receiving-site readiness.
• Experience delivering large-scale, data-intensive digital products in a product/leadership role.
• Strong leadership of cross-functional teams in a technical setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior leaders and technical experts.
• Deep knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and data/control systems (MES, DeltaV, PKM, Databricks, SCADA, PI).
• Proven ability to implement and scale AI solutions in regulated environments with governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and strategic roadmap for Digital Tech Transfer and PKM, aligning with business goals.
• Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team across product analysts, technology and process specialists.
• Oversee lifecycle of digital manufacturing products supporting tech transfer from concept to deployment and improvement.
• Translate complex business needs into scalable, compliant digital solutions through IT liaison.
• Drive data integration across MES, LIMS, and process control systems for an integrated PKM ecosystem.
• Champion data integrity and governance to ensure reliable and inspection-ready data.
• Manage product backlog and communicate progress to executives.
• Ensure compliance with GxP and internal quality standards.
• Collaborate with CMOs to digitise tech transfer and standardize data exchanges.
