Job summary

MBDA is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Engineer within the Industrial Transfer Team to drive manufacturing engineering focus, engage stakeholders, and lead front-end activities from bids through to delivery.

The role offers hybrid working, development opportunities, and a path to future opportunities; you will work on live build support and ensure safe, efficient transfer programmes while coordinating with external and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering and live build environments.
• Ability to interpret design drawings for manufacturing instructions.
• Proactive problem solving and meeting delivery milestones.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering activities within Industrial Transfer.
• Support bid generation for Manufacturing Industrial Transfer campaigns.
• Collaborate with Industrial Transfer PM to build robust bids.
• Deliver industrial transfer programmes aligned with customer expectations.
• Write reports and technical assessments for proposals.
