An opportunity for an established UK development finance originator with a proven banking background and a track record of completing residential development lending transactions.

Auricoe is representing an established specialist lender seeking an experienced Director to originate and deliver new residential development finance business across the UK.

This is a senior, commercially focused position for someone who combines established developer and intermediary relationships with strong credit judgement, structuring expertise and a proven record of converting lending opportunities into completed transactions.

The opportunity

You will take ownership of new business origination, developing relationships with experienced residential developers, property investors and professional introducers.

Working closely with senior credit and lending colleagues, you will identify, structure and execute commercially attractive development finance transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Personally originate residential development finance opportunities through an established UK network of developers, brokers and introducers.

Who we’re looking for

We are particularly interested in candidates currently working within UK banks, challenger banks or established specialist property lenders who have personally originated and completed residential development finance transactions.

You should demonstrate:

• A proven track record of personally originating and completing UK residential development finance loans.
• Strong experience within a banking or established specialist lending environment.
• An active network of residential developers, finance brokers and professional introducers.
• A clear understanding of development lending, including loan to cost, loan to gross development value, construction risk, borrower assessment and exit strategies.
• Experience structuring transactions, preparing credit submissions and progressing facilities through approval to completion.
• Commercial judgement, relationship management skills and the ability to deliver sustainable lending volumes.
• Evidence of recent completed transactions and personally generated lending business.
