Job summary

Fintelligent Search is seeking an experienced Relationship Director to originate, structure and execute development finance transactions with UK developers and intermediaries. You’ll own deals from initial conversation through loan completion and stay involved post-close to support ongoing lending relationships.

You will work with Credit, Legal, Finance and Development Monitoring teams to originate new business and carry opportunities through the full lifecycle, with quarterly commission on

Qualifications

• Experience originating and executing property development finance transactions.
• Experience assessing, structuring and completing due diligence on lending proposals.
• Experience preparing credit applications and taking transactions through credit approval and completion.

• Originate new development finance opportunities by building relationships with intermediaries and developers.
• Assess, structure and complete due diligence on lending proposals, including risk assessment and commercial rationale.
• Prepare and present credit applications, working with Credit and Legal teams through approval, documentation and loan completion.
• Remain involved with existing loans, supporting restructures or extensions where appropriate.

If you’re an experienced Relationship Director who wants to originate, structure and execute your own development finance transactions, this role offers genuine ownership from initial conversation through to loan completion. You’ll build relationships with developers and intermediaries while remaining closely involved with loans once they are on the book.

As a Relationship Director, you’ll work alongside experienced Credit, Legal, Finance and Development Monitoring teams, giving you the support to originate new business and take lending opportunities through the full transaction lifecycle.

Package & Benefits

• Salary of £120,000 to £135,000 per annum.
• 1% commission per deal.
• Commission paid quarterly.

About the Company

You’ll join a specialist property lender providing development finance to UK developers. The business combines an established credit framework with dedicated in-house teams supporting the origination, underwriting and ongoing management of loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate new development finance opportunities by building and developing relationships with intermediaries and property developers.
• Assess, structure and complete due diligence on lending proposals, including risk assessment, sensitivity analysis and commercial rationale.
• Prepare and present credit applications, working with Credit and Legal teams through approval, documentation and loan completion.
• Remain involved with existing loans, identifying emerging issues and supporting restructures or extensions where appropriate.
