Job summary

The University of Sheffield is seeking a Head of Business Intelligence and Reporting to lead the BI strategy, analytics delivery and reporting across the university. You will work with executive stakeholders to embed data-driven decision making and drive the BI roadmap, including statutory reporting and platform development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable leadership skills and experience of developing and managing successful, high performing teams
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for executive audiences
• Knowledge of current issues and policies affecting BI and reporting in higher education is desirable

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of and drive forward the BI strategy for the University, realising the roadmap
• Lead the development and evolution of BI to enable data-informed decision making across the University
• Lead and develop BI and reporting teams, ensuring professional development and performance management
• Oversee statutory reporting delivery and alignment with new processes and systems
• Collaborate with IT Services to shape analytics platforms and data tools across the University
• Represent the University in internal and external meetings and stakeholder groups
