Job summary

CME Group is seeking a Director of Data & Analytics API Experience to lead external data platforms and developer-friendly delivery. This IC role bridges between API strategy, product, and customers, crafting SDKs and delivery mechanisms for market data.

You will drive activation across four pillars, build a one-line-to-insight Python SDK, and publish open-source SDKs while ensuring internal parity and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation with capital markets knowledge.
• Proficient in Python and building SDKs for external users.
• Experience delivering developer-first API platforms in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead API-first initiatives for CME Group Data Services.
• Develop a high-performance Python SDK and client interfaces.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customers to define requirements.
