Job summary

9fin is seeking a product leader to define and ship API/data distribution products that power external clients. You will own data packaging, catalog decisions, and the developer experience, coordinating with engineering, analytics, and sales to drive a scalable data platform.

You will shape pricing, entitlements, and partner-driven GTM, while influencing across teams to deliver high-value data products for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, with API/data platform experience in a B2B context.
• Experience designing APIs for external consumers, including schema design and versioning.
• Track record shipping data products from exposure decisions to onboarding and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and strategy for external data distribution (APIs, data shares, cloud delivery).
• Own data catalogue decisions: datasets to expose, formats, channels, order, and commercial potential.
• Design end-to-end developer experience: API design, docs, portal, sandbox, error handling, rate limits, versioning.
• Define schemas, data models, and transformation logic to make data consumable outside the app.
• Shape commercial models for API products: packaging, tiering, usage-based pricing, entitlements.
• Coordinate across platform/analytics engineering and domain squads to ship cohesive products.
