Job summary

Invenio Partners seeks a Director – Commercial Valuation to lead Hospitality-related professional services from the Leeds office, delivering valuations and strategic advice for going‑concern assets. You will mentor colleagues, cultivate client relationships with banks, investors, accountants, and operators, and help expand the team as needed.

Based in Leeds, you will cover Yorkshire with substantial repeat work and a strong pipeline from day one.

  • Ability to prepare, present and deliver high-quality valuation reports.

This firm employ the largest team of sector specialists in the UK, providing professional brokerage, valuation and advisory services from offices in major cities across Britain and Europe. They have been doing this for over 90 years, so they know their sectors and local markets inside out. They work closely with their clients to guide and conclude transactions of any size, covering all aspects of leisure, forecourts, convenience retail, hotels, restaurants and pubs, social care and elderly care, childcare & education facilities, dental practices and pharmacies.

You will work alongside the market leading Hospitality team and report to the Managing Director, whilst retaining a good level of autonomy. The brand, company reputation and market knowledge will help you to open doors and become a trusted advisor for clients to rely upon with confidence.

About the Role

Director – Commercial Valuation – Leeds office

To deliver and grow predominantly the Hospitality Professional services, providing valuations and advice with a particular focus on going‑concern assets. The role will involve mentoring and influencing others, with the opportunity to build a team over time. You will be a key member of the firms wider valuation team, developing strong relationships with banks, investors, accountants, and operators through strong networking.

Based from the Leeds office, you will cover the Yorkshire region and will have the autonomy to organise your diary in the most efficient way possible. There is a substantial volume of repeat and recurring work available, including portfolio valuations and other instructions from existing clients, meaning you will inherit a strong pipeline from day one.

  • Registered Valuer Status
  • A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
Required Skills
  • Demonstrable experience applying appropriate valuation methodologies
  • A methodical and thorough approach to valuation work
  • Strong experience in preparing clear, well‑structured valuation reports
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong IT proficiency, with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • A good understanding of accounts and lease structures
  • Knowledge of the trade sector and current market trends
  • Awareness and understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements

Pay range and compensation package
  • £60,000 - £65,000 basic salary (DOE)
  • Car allowance plus business mileage, including insurance for you and one additional driver
