Job summary

Beach Baker is recruiting an Associate Director / Director - Commercial Valuation to provide valuation services across Hotels, Pubs and Restaurants, while supporting Healthcare and Medical teams. You will advise on businesses and going-concern properties across Scotland and parts of England.

Join a national team of specialist Hospitality Valuers and Agents, reporting directly to the Managing Director with a high level of autonomy, building relationships with banks, investors and operators.

Qualifications

• Real estate degree required.
• RICS Chartered status required.
• Minimum two years' post-qualification experience.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong IT skills and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Report preparation skills.

Responsibilities

• Survey and value properties and trading businesses.
• Inspect properties to determine value.
• Generate business through email, telephone prospecting and individual initiatives.
• Respond to client and applicant enquiries.
• Prepare marketing literature and detailed reports.
• Develop relationships with solicitors, accountants and other professional bodies.

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Commercial Valuations Surveyor to provide valuation services across a range of commercial trading sectors including Hotels, Pubs and Restaurants, while supporting the Healthcare and Medical teams. You will provide advice and valuations on businesses and going-concern properties across Scotland and parts of England.

Working as a key member of the valuation team, you will build strong relationships with major clients, banks, investors, accountants and operators. The role works alongside two experienced Valuation Directors based in Scotland, as well as the agency, consultancy and capital markets teams.
