Job Overview:

Direct Sourcing Recruiter for Leadership Roles

We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Direct Sourcing Recruiter to support our recruitment team by identifying, engaging, and nurturing top management and executive-level talent.

This role will play a key part in accelerating time-to-fill and strengthening our talent pipeline through market insights and direct outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and engage qualified candidates for management and executive-level positions through direct outreach and talent mapping.
  • Partner with recruiters to understand hiring needs and role requirements.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical leadership positions.
  • Develop and implement a framework to monitor labour market trends and talent availability.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities related to economic shifts, including layoffs or downsizing in relevant industries.
  • Maintain sourcing metrics and report on sourcing effectiveness and labour market insights.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in talent sourcing and/or executive search, with a focus on leadership roles.
  • Strong research and market analysis skills, with the ability to translate insights into sourcing strategies.
  • Proficiency in sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent mapping platforms).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

We’re also seeking a proactive and strategic Direct Sourcing Recruiter to support our recruitment team by identifying and engaging Indigenous talent.

  • Partner with the recruitment team to align sourcing efforts with hiring needs and inclusion goals.
  • Develop a framework to identify post-secondary programs aligned with future skill needs and strategic direction.
  • Support the design and implementation of co-op, internship, and outreach strategies to attract Indigenous talent.
  • Track and report on sourcing effectiveness and community engagement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in recruitment or talent sourcing, with a focus on inclusive hiring strategies.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous communities, cultures, and best practices in engagement.
  • Experience building partnerships with post-secondary institutions and community organizations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with sensitivity and cultural awareness.
